Mike and the entire staff were so compassionate and kind from making pre arrangements until well after the funeral. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The entire service was beautiful and the process was handled with care and professionalism, my mom was very grateful for it all. My father was handled with care until he was laid to rest. Thank you to Mike and everyone there.

Our family cannot thank Mike Sayles of Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home enough for the compassion, professionalism, and care shown to us during one of the most difficult times of our lives. We lost BOTH of OUR parents just 82 hours apart. Mike guided us through every detail with kindness, patience, genuine empathy, and true respect making everything much easier to navigate. Every question was answered, every request was accommodated, and we truly felt supported from beginning to end. Our parents celebration of life was beautifully organized and reflected the love we had for our parents. Mike Sayles and the entire team were incredible to work with. Took time to help us get through the process. They worked within our budget and really helped us with our stress. So many questions and pain. We are so happy they were there or family.

We’ve known the Sayles family for quite some time and have entrusted them with our family members in the past. When it was determined that my Dad was within his last month of life, I contacted Mike Sayles for a funeral prearrangement meeting. All of the preliminary paperwork was completed that day which made things much less stressful after my Dad passed away. At my Dads visitation, my family was extremely pleased with his appearance. Mary Sue was incredibly sympathetic and empathetic. She gave us personal attention as if we were her only customer. The job she did preparing our loved one for the services was second to none. These are people of intelligence and integrity. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. The funeral directors and staff are kind and compassionate people who make the most difficult time bearable. Mr. Tapella was such a gift to us throughout this process. We are forever grateful to him and his colleagues for their skillful care and kindness.

My family and I dealt with three consecutive losses over a two week period earlier this year. In an incredibly difficult and stressful time, we were comforted and relaxed with the help of Carlson staff. I cannot speak highly enough about the care we received - they are outstanding, and truly went above and beyond on a number of levels. The facilities are comfortable, make you feel at home, the staff is attentive and wonderful, and the entire experience was made easier than I had imagined. My father was one of the original founders/owners of this funeral home. So, of course we used them when both my parents died. Mike Sayles and the rest of his staff definitely are carrying on the traditions of caring service that my father and grandfather started. Everybody was kind and thoughtful in arranging for the services. They made a difficult time much easier to handle.
